Hi

I hep someone can help me.

I want to add a blog image but the screen freezes after Configuration is ticked - see screen shot. It has worked in the past. It is the same whether I access the post from the front or backend.

I am using J3 on a test site (which is closed at the moment)
Hello Richard,

Sorry for late reply to this,
I think I know the issues already, check my screenshot below and see is it you referring on this?
If yes, you have to request with your Webhosting provider to help you turn off this "magic-quotes" from your php information backend and frontend, because Joomla requirement is need turn off magic quote.
-> http://www.joomla.org/technical-requirements.html
After your Webhosting provider turn if off the magic quote from backend and frontend php information, then you try add a blog image from your site and see how it goes. After you fix this, what i suggestion is remove all the blog post you migrated from joomla, then migrate all the blog post again, so it will not show / / / / <- this symbol in your image URL. Hope this help.

Hi Richard,

Can you provide us with backend access and ftp access so that we can help you debug and fix this issue. Actually we need this access in order to debug this issue on your site since we cannot replicate this issue on our local. There are several issue regarding this. May I know do you have installed Admin Tools in your site? If yes can you add exception for EasyBlog in Admin Tools?

Please be advise.
Thanks.

Hello Richard,

I have checked your site and it seems like the media manager is working correctly. I was able to change the blog image and here is my screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/IrEZ0HnULgr . Perhaps I missed a steps to replicate this?

Please be advise.
Thanks.

Ok

This is strange - the problem only occurs on one blog post. So I will just delete and re-publish. Many thanks

Hi

I have now replicated the problem.

I had a post in EasyBlog which I had imported from a Joomla Artcle. The post had an image. I then wanted to add a blog image. When I did this and saved it there was no blog image and the blog image loader now just hangs. Also - this is strange - the inline image in the blog no longer has the right URL....

I did the edit form the front end (but it has happened from the back end too)

Here is the URL of the post

http://j3.ifootpath.com/index.php/Walking-news/Dashboard/Write.html?blogid=13

Many thanks
