Hi SI Team

I have been using EB5 for a number of months now and love it :-)
I am developing a number of standard articles.
EG currently a set of articles called: “All You Need to Make Your Movie for Free 01”
Because I am making these articles for the first time I am not sure how the template should look in advance.
So I make the article and experiment. For example at the moment I am to quite sure how the links will work.
Once I have issues like the links nailed and every thing works as I want it I am read to make a template.

My question. Can I save my now finished article as a template?
Assuming that I can, I guess that I would have to remove all the screen shots, links etc but leave the blocks there for new text links etc.

OR

Do I have to make the template from scratch using the above template as a model?

Does the article become a template or does the template become an article?

I hope that I am being clear. Guess that it is a chicken and egg question!

thanks in advance

Paul
Hi Paul,

My question. Can I save my now finished article as a template?

Yes you can. All you need to do is edit an existing blog post and then click on "save as new template" as you can see from my screenshot here, http://screencast.com/t/AX4czKBoXO and you are good to go.

Does the article become a template or does the template become an article?

I'm not really sure if I understand you here. I believe both of the situation above is possible in easyblog where an article can become a new template and the template can be directly use to create an article.
