Hello,
Is it normal for the running maintenance script to taking along time its been over half hour and i have not seen anything loading or doing anything?
What is it meant to be doing?
Hi Karen,

It seems like the following custom css is hiding the toolbar icon as you can see from my screenshot here, http://screencast.com/t/GTSZhlt4WW . As soon I modified the css from your /templates/beez3/css/personal.css at line 322 as below the icon is showing up correctly, http://screencast.com/t/aGQ59rgOR
a i {
visibility: visible;
}

Hope these help.

Hi Karen,

It seems like there are some issue there that preventing the script from being running. Can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can help you with the installation directly?

If you are requested to submit your site details, you may do so under the tab Site Details below. Please be rest assured that these information will only be visible to the support team from Stack Ideas.

Thanks for helping me out. I did try and do an update but it kept coming up with an error so I decided to download the file and install through plugin manager. Will I lose my blogs I had made my doing it this way?

Thanks

Hi Karen,

I've helped you with the update of your easyblog 5.0.22 on your site. Please have a look.

I decided to download the file and install through plugin manager. Will I lose my blogs I had made my doing it this way?

The blog post from your previous version will remain there as the blog is stored inside the database itself.

Hope these help.

Thanks for helping do the update. I went to re-upload the CSS but alot of it hasn't changed. I can't seem to find the style.min.css file to change the bar colours either.

Hey Karen,

You shouldn't be re-uploading the min.css file because this could be affecting your current stylesheet. Can you please revert to the original and see if there are still issues with the icons?

Hello, what do you mean by revert to the original? The only reason I mentioned the style.min.css file is because that is where the bar was reading the css from.

Hi Karen,

I am sorry but unfortunately the file structure for easyblog 5 is completely different than easyblog 3.9 hence if you have made any custom modification in easyblog 3.9, it will be most unlikely to work as it should be and you will need to create a new customization for it. If you have any customization inside your /templates/your_template/html/com_easyblog/ kindly rename the folder via ftp and it should be working correctly.

By the way it seems like your FTP access is not working for me. Please advise.
