I have a lot of issues after upgrading to ver 5.

1. rss error
2. all posts ordering from oldest to newest (I want newest to oldest, but not working)
3. in blog page, I set to hide below info, but not working: hits, blogger name, ABOUT THE AUTHOR, RELATED POSTS
4. share this article also empty http://screencast.com/t/G5bcFK8ip7
5. when creating a Single TeamBlog layout menu item, # Items Per Page setting always "Inherit From Joomla Global Configuration" even I changed to 10, and saved it. it will roll back to "Inherit From Joomla Global Configuration"

by the way, how to make a forum post private?

Hey sky,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Please find the responses to your inquiries below:

1. rss error

Looks like there are 2 issues here.

The first issue:
RSS is hitting error because of your system plugin "Aikon Super Preloader". It is injecting HTML codes into the output of the RSS as you can see here, http://screencast.com/t/tqqdwX1mU2q

The second issue:
You have disabled the RSS feeds as you can see here, http://screencast.com/t/iOsoHinvO . I have turned it on and it works fine now.

2. all posts ordering from oldest to newest (I want newest to oldest, but not working)
3. in blog page, I set to hide below info, but not working: hits, blogger name, ABOUT THE AUTHOR, RELATED POSTS
4. share this article also empty http://screencast.com/t/G5bcFK8ip7
5. when creating a Single TeamBlog layout menu item, # Items Per Page setting always "Inherit From Joomla Global Configuration" even I changed to 10, and saved it. it will roll back to "Inherit From Joomla Global Configuration"

Can you please update to 5.0.17? We have addressed most of the settings issues on this release.

by the way, how to make a forum post private?

Currently this isn't possible but we're updating our forums shortly to allow one to one discussions. Temporarily, please ensure that your site access is only provided under the "Site Details" tab as these information will not be visible to anyone.

in Single TeamBlog layout, all posts ordering from oldest to newest (I set newest to oldest, but not working), # Items Per Page setting not working

after login the site, and click the easyblog menu, it is not showing the page correctly. if not login, then fine.

Hey Sky,

I found out what thing is causing this issue in your site, that is Easysocial menu module.

It seems like you using very older version of your Easysocial, you should consider to update to 1.3.29 is because since Easyblog 5 released, we also updated the compatible issue between Easysocial and Easyblog.

By the way, I have applied some fix in this 2 file in your site :
->JoomlaFolder\modules\mod_easysocial_menu\mod_easysocial_menu.php
->JoomlaFolder\modules\mod_easysocial_menu\tmpl\default.php

it should work fine now.

Hey Sky,

Thanks for getting back to us everything is working now.

Opps, It seems like we forget to remove those router option from the module, in Easyblog 5 modules only respect Easyblog main SEO routing behaviour settings from your backend > Easyblog > settings > SEO .

By the way, I already help you removed those router option from the module.

All the fix will include in next release version.

you removed those router option from the module? that is a big problem for me. As I setup my blogs like this in ver 4:
I created a easyblog menu with sef url like this: http://www.mysite.com/blog/entry/blog_article_name
and I set module router option to that menu id so that blog url will be the same as above

but now you remove that, and when click the blog of module, the url will become:
http://www.mysite.com/component/easyblog/entry/blog_article_name?Itemid=122

one more issue: I set Show Post Hits and show author to NO, but page still show that.

Hey Sky,

I have help you set to default from your backend > Easyblog > Settings > SEO > advanced > category selection , it work fine now.

Do you mean it still appear hits and author on your blog listing page right?

If yes, I have disable those option from your Easyblog (Post) Frontpage menu item, it should not shown up now.

Hey sky,

I am not really sure if I understand you here. What do you mean by "package with all fix"? The latest version of EasyBlog is 5.0.17 and we're working on 5.0.18 which contains several other bug fixes as well

hey Sky,

You can try take a look of my instruction step below :
#1. I logged in this Superadmin account (jsupport).
#2. Then i check one of the teamblog `社區日誌` members only 3 users joined this teamblog (screenshot : http://screencast.com/t/irK99sahd3oX )
#3. After that I joined this teamblog, then I tried to edit the post, I can see that `Associations` section, because I have the permission to do that (screenshot : http://screencast.com/t/7hD9GQ6gI82V)
#4. If I joined one more `會展專欄`, so I can change this post to another teamblog. (screenshot : http://screencast.com/t/7hD9GQ6gI82V )

Hope this explanation will help.
