Yes, that is possible, what you need to do is go to your single category page e.g. https://jumpxxdomain.com/blog/categories/daz-studio then copy this permalink 'Subscribe via RSS' and set into your another site feed importer configuration.

Actually you do not need to setup any special category is because base on the post it already assigned to the specific category, what you need to do is get the each category `Subscribe via RSS` permalink then setup into your feed importer. Hope this help.

Some posts will be for both sites and others for just the individual site. Currently I have separate categories on the originating site for A and B. If I understand what you are saying I assign the post to both categories - A & B and then get the RSS Feed link from category B and in future only posts assigned with category B will post on Site B?
