I like all your works! It's good that you have a classifieds ads component

Thanks,
Dex
Thanks for the heads up on this Dexer I thought there's already a nice classifieds extension from dj-extensions?

We know the stacked team could make a ton of really amazing extensions, really I'm sure they could pull it off. But as it is they have to keep up with the support of their current products which is hard enough.

I too am looking for a classifieds component that is integrated with EasySocial. JD CLassifieds looks really good. Is there any way of changing the contact seller page to go to EasySocial profile? I am guessing it's not that simple!

I have also purchased and tried:
Jom Classifieds: http://jomclassifieds.com/
J Classifieds: http://www.joobi.co/jclassifieds.html

I have asked about EasySocial integration. Jom Classifieds said they will put it to their developers but have a lot on at the moment. Jclassifieds said they look to work on an EasySocial integration in December.

Has anyone managed to find a classifieds that now has EasySocial integration?

Kind regards

Hello Mel,

If any of these extensions has triggers / plugins support just like Kunena we could just write a simple plugin to make them work together.

Hi Mark,

thanks for responding.

With JClassifieds, you can download a 30 day free trial of all their products with no limitations so have access to everything (great idea, as I have personally wasted so much money buying components that I never ended up using).

They do have an integration with Jomsocial already so does that suggest they have the triggers/plugins support?

They also have a number of other e-commerce solutions which are all built on the same system (I am aware others in stackideas forums are also asking for these integration's too) so maybe it's worth taking a look at those. What I have seen so far, they do look pretty good - its just that missing integration with EasySocial (for me at least).

With Jom Classifieds, could I send you the files to take a look?

Hello Mel,

Thanks for updating. To be honest I am not really sure how they are integrating this with Jomsocial but it would be likely that they coded this in their extensions but I need to take a look at it when I have more free time

Hi,

An update for anyone else seeking a classified that integrates with EasySocial. I have given up on both jclassifieds and jomclassifieds. The first installs an enormous number of files which take ages to install, the second didn't have enough features for me.

I have just purchased dj-classifieds (one of Marks suggestions earlier in this thread) and spoke to the developer who says they are looking to release a new version with EasySocial integrated before Xmas.

I have installed the beta version and so far so good (no easysocial integration yet though). The added bonus is there is also an auction feature for those looking for that. I also asked if Komento could be integrated too (as an alternative to jcomments and discuss).

Thanks for sharing this Mel Can you contact Dj Classifieds and request them to expedite the integrations with EasySocial quicker? We are more than happy to assist them if they need any help

Hi Mark,

I contacted dj-classifieds and they have got back to me.

EasySocial integration will be in their stable version (current beta is 3.3). They have also said they will integrate Komento too - brilliant news. They are so accommodating - a breath of fresh air!

Also, they have also added a reverse auction function to their todo list - for anyone interested in this feature.

Mel,

Is it possible to set up multiple instances/directories? Maybe one for classifieds and one for jobs?

Hi Justin,

you can create multiple categories and sub categories and also add custom fields etc. Have a look at their demo here:

http://demo.dj-extensions.com/dj-classifieds-3/

Also check out the features on their website. The new one that is due to be released has more features obviously, and will include the stackideas integrations. I decided to purchase it (so i could trial the beta) - as they are currently running a blackfriday offer with 30% discount

Hello,
Personally , i like the look of Jom Classifieds more than other classified extensions, but i've never tried any of them yet and i'm trying to figure out which is better. As i understood from the conversation, any of them is integrated with Easysocial so far(. What i'm worried about the most is that should the member of my Easysocial based community create another account to post adds in Jom Classifieds installed on the same website? Or he/she is automatically can post in Jom Classifieds using his/her Easysocial account? Sorry for my rusty English))

Hello Alexander,

As long as these extensions works on Joomla's API, they don't need to create the accounts separately. The integrations that Mel is looking for is probably on the user profile / avatar linkage with EasySocial.
