Hello,

We make a RSS feed of our posts, and in some of these posts have an PDF file in them.
We have checked a setting in EasyBlog, that removes the details of the PDF file.
That works fine on the website ( Because there is a "hide" css class, that removes these details.)
But in our RSS feed, that "hidden" class, doesn't work.

The details what I am talking about:
pdf
Filename: file.pdf
Filesize: 140kb
Download file

My question is:
Can you let the PHP-file reformat the post, so that in our RSS feed, the details (of the PDF file) won't show either.
And if that is not possible in the "official version of EasyBlog", Can you help us to adjust the output of the RSS feed ourselves?

I hope you understand my problem.

Kind Regards
Rob
Yep, this fix will be added in the next release of EasyBlog. If you need to apply this on your other sites, copy the file from /components/com_easyblog/views/categories/view.feed.php

Can you please provide us with the link to the rss feed that has this issue?

Hello Mark,

Since it is a big RSS feed with images in it, the fastest way to find a PDF file, is Ctrl+F and search for "Download bestand" (The Dutch translation of "Download File").

Looks like there is a bug in the rss feed for categories. I have updated this for you and it should work fine now. This fix will be included in the next release of EasyBlog as well

Hello Mark!

Thank you for your fast support! It works, thank you very much

Just one last question, is this a feature in easyblog itself now? (so on all websites this is fixed now?)
If not, is it possible we can see the changed file(s)? I would love to do this "fix" to another website.

Again, thank you very much!

Rob
