I have this set up as the front page, and I turned off the comment section but it still showing up on the front page. I will control the comments via the category settings, so they will appear under blog post.

I just needed it removed from the frontpage.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Mireku,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply. It seems like you are using older version of easyblog and older version is known to have some issue with the layout settings and the issue has already been addressed in the latest release of easyblog. Can I have the permission to update your easyblog to the latest version and see if the issue will fix?

If you have made any core modification of your easyblog file it is advisable for you to backup the files before the update to avoid any necessary lost of your modification. Please advise.

Thank you so very much for extending yourself on your weekend time.

I realize looking at the website again that what I had assume was comments are actually titles of blog post. I don't want to show the titles of the blog post

Am I in the right place to remove the titles off the frontpage or is it done somewhere else?

Thanks and looking forward to your response.

Hey Brenda,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Hm, not really sure what you mean here. Could you please provide me with the link to the page and also a screen shot (with highlight of the section that you want to turn off) ?

Of course.

Under the Easyblog image wall module there is a list of post with comment counts. I do want that list to appear on the frontpage, please see attachment labeled: easy-blog-frontpage-comment-not-going-away.JPG.

I turned this off here in the menu section, please see attachment labeled : easyblog-menu-setup.jpg

Thank you in advance.

Hey Brenda,

Hm, in your screen shot there is nothing about "comments", So I am not really sure which "comments" are you referring to here? Can you please provide the exact screen shot of the "comments" section that you are referring to? Also, please provide the link to the page

Hey Brenda,

Ah okay this seems to make more sense to me. However, these contents are actually not from the image wall module. They are actually generated from EasyBlog's latest view. Do you want to hide this entire section altogether or just the comment links?

Hey Brenda,

That is actually the main view of EasyBlog. If you hide it, then users won't be able to view the list of blog posts on the site when you create a menu item to the front page layout. However should you really want to hide the front page view altogether, you can add the block of css codes into your template's css file,

.eb-view-latest {
display: none !important;
}
