I have set up remote posting, however, I can't get it to work.

The test works on the setup page, I can see an email in the mailbox and the cron job seems correctly set up and running. However, no movement of email to the blog.
Hello Robert,

I seem can't login to your administrator site.

Can you also provide us with cPanel access so that we can check and fix this issue with your site?

Please be advise.
Thanks.

First you need to login to the staging site. Then log into the website proper

Hello Robert Raikes,

Sorry for late reply to this,
Yes, I can able to access in your Cpanel access now and the .htaccess, but I'm not able to access with your Joomla backend, can you provide us again the Joomla backend login credential, so we can help you check on this? Please advise.

By the way, I noticed you configured that cronjob you set the domain name as http://meko.co.uk/, or it should using this domain name http://staging3.meko.co.uk/?

Actually, I am running http://www.meko.co.uk as the live site and staging3.meko.co.uk as a testing one. I have changed the cron to point to staging3.meko.co.uk, but still not working.

Are you getting past the staging log in? I have confirmed the user logon again.

Hello Robert Raikes,

It seems like you provided that Joomla backend login credential only can access in your test site.

I have directly use back your live site domain name for configure cronjob in your site. The cronjob should work fine now.

When i tried to put this cron command :
/usr/bin/wget -O /dev/null "http://www.meko.co.uk/index.php?option=com_easyblog&task=cron";

This is the server response :

--2014-08-29 11:41:01-- http://www.meko.co.uk/index.php?option=com_easyblog&task=cron
Resolving http://www.meko.co.uk... 181.224.142.21
Connecting to http://www.meko.co.uk|181.224.142.21|:80... connected.
HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 200 OK
Length: 81 [text/html]
Saving to: `/dev/null'

0K 100% 1.96M=0s

2014-08-29 11:41:01 (1.96 MB/s) - `/dev/null' saved [81/81]

Can i have your live site Joomla backend access so we can help you test this remote publishing is it working or not? Please advise.

Hello Robert,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. I have tried to modify some files via FTP but the changes doesn't seem to be picking up as I am trying to debug the site.

Can you please advise?

Are you trying to fix the main site or the staging? Only way to give access to staging ftp is to give you cpanel access.

Thanks, can you tell me the problem, as I have a staging site for some developments, and I don't want to break it when I restore the site?

Your remote publishing settings were not correct because your IMAP server doesn't have SSL support. All you need to do is to ensure that the remote publishing settings are the same on both sites
