Hello Sky,

For email remote publishing, you can choose which category the remote items should published to. However, currently EasyBlog do not have the option to select the teamblog Please see http://screencast.com/t/py96gvJ2v4os

also some images not shown in your how to :http://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/administrators/remote-publishing/email-publishing

Thanks for reporting the missing images. We are fixing this issue and please try again later

Hope this help and have a nice day!

Hi Sky,

Can you add teamblog support for email-publishing?

You may submit this feature request at our EasyBlog voice page here http://stackideas.com/voices/easyblog

by the way, how to handle images position in email-publishing? there is no such info in your page.

Currently the email remote publishing will save the image attachment as the post's cover image thus the image position will be followed your current setting.

Hope this help

Hi Sky,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply as now is a weekend for us here

If the images are big, and in Chinese file name. Can it work? Will easyblog resize the images?

If your email has big images that I suggest you increase your PHP memory_limit to higher value for the smooth operation on the image resizing. Recommended 512mb or higher for a lot of images processing at one time. As for chinese image filename, it shouldn't be a problem as long your server file / folder structure suppose chinese characters

As for the images resize, yes, the images will be resized and saved in your EasyBlog

I also see this warning for remote publishing with word
http://screencast.com/t/66PxyDDj

You can safely ignore these warning message as the remote blogging feature in your MS word / Window live writer will need to send your username and password to your Joomla site for authentication.

Hope this help and have a nice day!

Hello Sky,

Email publishing can not choose category via email title tag?

I am sorry but currently this is not possible at the moment. You will need to pre-define the category before you can execute the remote email publishing.

Hope this help
