Hi there,

I just noticed on my site that there is an app called 'Relationship v1.0.27'. I am not sure if it is for real as when I download it, I am told that I have no apps installed (this is the only app I downloaded on my test account).
Hi,

Particularly this app handles stream generation and notification. If someone sends you a relationship request, and you've approved it, this app is responsible to generate the stream item on your activity wall.

Hi Jason,

Do you mind explaining what does it do in lay man's terms?

I'm not sure if a user needs to install it or not, but anyway the idea is that if you have the standard "relationship" field on your profiles and a user picks "In a relationship" another box appears where they can enter the name of the member they are in a relationship with. That other user will need to confirm the relationship and when they do profiles will show "In a relationship with Jo" etc

It only works though if you use the built in relationship field type.

Hi,

Yes it works hand in hand with relationship field type.

I would suggest that you set the Relationship App to "default" so that it applies on the site by default without user installing/uninstalling.
