Redirect after registration

Is it possible to redirect a new user after they first register to a preset menu item when using the email activation method?

I am trying to configure Membership Pro as my subscription software and don't want it to control the sign up process as I want to keep Easy Social for that. As members initially signup as free I want to keep the activation by email process as a security measure. It works fine without the activation process but will more or less let anybody in...

I want new members to sign up securely in Easy Social then go straight to Membership Pro to choose a subscription if that makes sense.
