When login in with Facebook, the process just loops back to the same login screen and the user isn't logged in ?

http://www.decopatio.ca/2015/index.php?option=com_easysocial&view=login&Itemid=256

I set the oAuth registration to automatically activate the user.

Any thoughts ?
Thanks
Danny

Hello Danny,

The provided credentials still not working for me.

I've tested the facebook registration with automatic login upon registration completed and everything is working fine in our local.

The login credentials work fine from here ? Just tested it again and logged it perfectly ?
In your frontend test, where you routed back to the dashboard after login with with Facebook ?

Hello Danny,

After I've done some checking on your site, it seems like you have choose to use email as username during facebook registration. However you've turned off "use email as username" from backend > easysocial > settings > users > authentication, thus the registration and login is not working as it should be.

I've choose "full name" as username for facebook registration and the redirection is working properly now upon logged in. Can you verify it for me?

Hello Danny,

May I know if your issue still persist? Mine is working fine here on my end. Check my video link here, http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-03-31_1319.swf

Perhaps you can provide us the steps on how to replicate the issue from your side. Please advise

Oh I C,

The problem isn't a problem. It's just that once you get logged in through Facebook, you should be able to be redirected directly (logged in) to your dashboard.

By saying "log in with Facebook", you should be logged in. As per your SWF example, once you return from Facebook, you still look exactly like you need to login to continue.

Is there a way to override this ? Surely I can't be the only person who thinks that's a bug ? When you log into a system, you should expect to be just that, logged in ? No ?

Personally, I feel something is wrong when I am returned to the same page I was without anything changing.

Can we do something about this ?

Thanks
Danny

Hello Danny,

To be honest I'm not quite understand what do you mean in your last reply.

Personally, I feel something is wrong when I am returned to the same page I was without anything changing.

Do you mean every time you logged in into facebook you will redirected back to the same page instead of dashboard? From my video the facebook login will redirect me back to the dashboard instead of the same page. Do you mind if you can elaborate more about the actual issue that you are facing currently?

Please advise

OK I C
Your process (in your SWF) went to the dashboard after a few seconds.
When I do it, it just stops, it never goes to the dashboard.

Hello Danny,

Ah I see. You need to complete the registration first or linked your facebook account with an existing account on your site in order to be able redirect directly to dashboard. Refer screenshot here, http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-04-01_1140.png . After you've completed the registration, the next time you login using facebook it will automatically redirect you to dashboard in single click

Ps : you can refer to my previous video where I am redirected to dashboard since I already completed the registration on your site before I start the recording.
