Hi Support

I have a blog post in the draughts section of my Site.
"You Tube's Copyright Robot & Collateral Damage"
And I can not publish it.
When I press Publish Post the little “Publish Post” button spins and spins and nothing happens!
Also the preview post option did not work!

Please advise.

Also Please NOTE***

If you can get this published:

PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT NOTIFY SUBSCRIBERS

Hey Paul,

I am sorry that delay of this reply,

It seems like Wanderers template causing this issue, may i know do you have any customization for your current Wanderers template?

Because I noticed you haven't update to the latest Wanderers template yet.

Once you backup everything, so I will help you perform an update for your Wanderers template and see how it goes?

Hey Arlex

Apart from the custom.css
There are 2 things that will probably break.

a) the banner (Blackmagic) which has a custom module position.
b) the Roll over video work flow (the cow that appears on the video thumbnail)

Both of these will probably break when you update.
I need to look in some old posts of mine to double check.
But I have fixed these breaks a dozen times.
I do not think that they will be a big deal.

a) I think it is just a question of adding a line of code to what ever file dictates what the module positions end up being!
b) I think there should be a back up in the right place & it will be a question of renaming 2 files. i.e. blah.blah_BUP will become blah.blah

With respect to a back up I have an Akeeba back up from yesterday that is OK.
Site Ground should also have one.

Am looking into this now. Give me 10 minutes

Found it here: public_html/templates/wanderers/css/

In the custom.css file there is the following code:

.bm-bann p {
text-align: center;
margin-top: 23px;
padding-bottom: 10px;
}

#bruce-bottom {
z-index: 6;
width: 500px;
height: 25px;
position: fixed;
bottom: 0;
left: 0;
}

#bm-bann {
z-index: 12;
width: 650px ;
margin: 0 auto ;
}

#bm-outer {
z-index: 12;
width: 650px ;
text-align: center;
}

#bm-inner {
display: inline-block;
}

I suspect that this refers to a line of code in the index.php file but am honestly not quite sure!?!

I have also dragged the complete Wanders template folder to my desktop just in case

I think it should be safe to proceed with the update now!

Hey Paul,

Thanks for getting back to us, it seems like hitting this compatible issue in Joomla 2.5 :

Fatal error: Class 'JHtmlBootstrap' not found in ...\templates\wanderers\component.php on line 25

To fix this, can you try download my attachment file and replace in -> JoomlaFolder\templates\wanderers\component.php

It should fix this issue.

Hey Paul,

I am sorry that delay of this reply,

I've tried to create a test post in your frontend and backend, it seems work fine for me.

Check my video : http://screencast.com/t/kL9FFfIvgmwW

Hmm, I apologize with you is because I notice my test post autopost to your social network.

No worries about the auto post.
It is not the end of the world.

I will see if I can post now.

Hi, hi

I hate to say this but I am still having problems.
My draft post "You Tube's Copyright Robot & Collateral Damage" contains 9 photos.
I am trying to replace "Youtube-Collateral-Damage-WEB006v1" with "Youtube-Collateral-Damage-WEB006v2"
i.e. the 6th photo

And also add a 10th image ("Youtube-Collateral-Damage-WEB010") directly after the following paragraph.

But no matter when our situation is resolved, the problem that could have a serious impact on any project is Youtube's Content ID system. Without any way of addressing the rights of several artists working on a single project, it is fundamentally flawed. If one or more of those artists are in the Content ID database, there is instant conflict rather than resolution. Certainly we are not the first project of this kind to encounter this flaw.

I have tried this is both Firefox and Chrome.
Maybe I am making some stupid mistake.
Please see if you can add an image to the blog post in question.

This is waht I am doing:

a) press add image block
b) click below the 6th image that I want to replace
See no upload option!

thanks in advance

Please, can you kindly start a new thread and also try to simplify your message? Your message is a little too cryptic and I took nearly 30 minutes to decipher what you are trying to say
