public viewing but registered posting

Hello Everyone,

I'm trying to figure out how to set up my EasyDiscuss so that the 'public' can view all questions/answers, but only 'registered' members can ask/answer question. Can someone point me in the direction of a tutorial for this OR a quick start guide on basics for EasyDiscuss?

Sorry for late reply to this,
If you're using Joomla 3.2, then you should go to your backend > User > User manager > Option > Re-save
First, you can configure with your public user can ask a question from your backend > Easydiscuss > setting > ACL > public user group > Enable the Ask an question option
Second, you can set the category which user group user can view or answer from your backend > Easydiscuss > setting > category > choose your category > permission tab
