Right now there's no (easy) method of changing the profile types of users. Depending on the social network there may come to be a situation where this is necessary. I didn't see anything on the roadmap but I know users have mentioned this feature request before. I think the biggest issue with being able to switch from profile types is difference of available fields, right? Would SI be willing to consider adding this feature if enough support is gained? I'll check Voices to see if the request is already posted, but I think this would be really handy to have.
