Profile Type Configuration

I am in the process of creating a new Profile Type within Easy Social on the Joomla admin panel. I go through each tab (along from General to Apps) filling in all of the fields and making changes and to the best of my knowledge I have filled in every field.

However, when I go to save my changes I am given this notice:

"All mandatory fields are required. Please check and make sure that all mandatory fields has been added to the profile."


There is no asterisk explaining which fields I have failed to fill in and it does look like everything is filled.

Is this a bug?

I am sorry for the inconvenience caused. The only caused you are hitting the error of "All mandatory fields are required. Please check and make sure that all mandatory fields has been added to the profile." is because you did not put the mandatory fields on the custom field. Hi,

When I click the edit button for the 'first name, middle name, last name' entry I am able to toggle the 'required' box to 'no' then when I click save the changes are saved.

However, when I delete the 'first name, middle name, last name' entry from the Custom Fields > Basic information configuration page it places this entry into the mandatory field as you have shown in your screenshot.

How do I delete this custom field entry and also make it non-mandatory?

Hi Mark,

I think you are confuse with the required function for. The require is the asterisk which is mandatory when new user want to register a new account on your site, which is when you disable the require, new user no need to fill out the field as it is not mandatory
