Am I missing a setting somewhere?
Profile links always show the users ID.

example:
/profile/259-username

With a permalink set shouldn't the link then show as
/profile/username
Do you have SEF url's enabled in Joomla? In EasySocial it should be id-less when using a permalink for the profile.

Now I am REALLY confused, I didn't change a single setting. Just checked that SEF was on. Then reloaded the site, and it started working correctly.

Cache's and indexing can create some unexpected results. Maybe something cleared since you started this thread?

I am not. I can only assume it was a cache issue as Josh suggested, because it is all working now.
It was working incorrectly for over a month. I checked the settings as suggested, and it just started working.
I will keep an eye on it, and see if changes again, and let you know if I figure anything out.
