Hi

I had this problem in the past with another site and I have no idea how it got fixed.
When using the Simplistic theme on EB5, I have several CSS issues, like modal windows that never open, save buttons that disappear. This is the one that I was using when I upgraded, so I'm not sure if this is the cause of the problem. I tried to recompile the LESS files and had no effect.

The other problem that I'm seeing, but it seems that it's for every theme used, is that I can't change the author, the wheel keeps spinning and never finds any user.

thanks!
Hey Ricardo,

When using the Simplistic theme on EB5, I have several CSS issues, like modal windows that never open, save buttons that disappear. This is the one that I was using when I upgraded, so I'm not sure if this is the cause of the problem. I tried to recompile the LESS files and had no effect.

I have changed to `Simplistic` theme, it seems like the styling and the save button is appear correctly, check my screenshot below.

The other problem that I'm seeing, but it seems that it's for every theme used, is that I can't change the author, the wheel keeps spinning and never finds any user.

Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 90963968) (tried to allocate 184492 bytes) in xxx/libraries/joomla/database/driver.php on line 1586

I noticed when loading the author, it will hitting this memory limit, can you provide us with your PHPMYADMIN access so I can check on this issue?

Your screenshot is not using Simplistic, is using Wireframe.
I can't leave it on Simplistic otherwise people can't post, but feel free to change quickly to Simplistic and then edit a post. The header is not blue, it's white on Simplistic.

I shared cpanel access on this post, I hope it helps.

As a side note, yesterday one user created a post and to add images, he dragged and dropped them on the composer.
The result was many images embedded in the post as code, not as a reference to an external image. The post was then huge in size and broke the whole site, since I have showcase module on home. This feature of embedding images on the post should be avoided by the composer.

It could be related.
Another important info is that my site has ˜30K users.

thanks

Hey Ricardo,

I am sorry that delay of this reply,

I suspect that was cache issue, you can watch my video link here : http://screencast.com/t/AlQJbc5p4Zv
This is what I test in Simplistic theme in your site, can you try clear your Joomla cache and browser cache and see is it help?
keep us update if still hitting the same issue with this and provide us which user account you trying to edit the post from your frontend.

Am i missing some of the step reproduce this issue? Perhaps you can provide us some screenshot after you submit the post then messed up the styling.

It could be related.
Another important info is that my site has ˜30K users.

That right, I will consult with our developer regarding and see is it got better solution for this.
I have applied some temporary fix, it should show the author list from composer now.
By the way, May i know do you want to show all the `registered user group` user display on your composer author listing?

Any registered user can post.
I'll check the theme and cache issue later today and inform you.

Thanks

Now everything is working and I didn't do anything, didn't clear cache for instance. And I had cleared the Joomla cache before posting here, very weird.

thanks

Hm, that's strange. If the problem still re-occurs, let us know
