Hello all,
I installed Easyblog yesterday. All seems to work fine (http://www.namungroup.com/index.php/easyblog). I read that Blogsy is a great application to be able to publish with Ipad. I installed Easyblog as mentioned. But when I want to publish an article, the article appears in the articles list but the publishing date is hours later so that I cannot do it directly. I have to connect to my Joomla/Easyblog and approve it. What can I do?
Hello Sandra,

I have been debugging this using Blogsy and apparently Blogsy is sending us the "date time" based on the devices date time without informing us about the timezone that the device is currently on. This makes it close to impossible to tell the GMT time because there is no way to know where the user is connecting from.

I have applied a temporary hack in the file /components/com_easyblog/controllers/xmlrpc.php so that it always enforces the current date and time rather than using the date time specified by Blogsy.

Hi Sandra,

I am sorry because I don't have an IPad in my hand right now, but I will do some testing on this issue and I will get back to you as soon as possible. As for now, you can do this checklist:
#1. Please checked your IPad timezone. Is it correctly set to your timezone?
#2. Please checked your site timezone as well. Is it correctly set to your timezone? IPad and your site timezone must be the same.

By the way, can you kindly provide us with Joomla backend access and your site FTP access so that we can further inspect and debug this issue much quicker.

Please advise.

Hi guys,
I entered my connection details to my profile. FTP I have to look for as I don't use it normally.
I will in the meantime double-check all timezone issues.

Thanks therefore already
