We installed EasyDiscuss on our JomSocial Joomla 3.3 installation. 2 Languages are installed (german and english). All works fine after some fixes. But we now realize that EasyDiscuss creates the entry for a created discussion.
On the picture you see my latest entry:
Volker hat eine Antwort zum Thema Darstellung von Kampagnen - An... verfasst (http://mcffa.ug/de/discussions-de/darstellung-von-kampagnen-anpassungen-jgive)
The link works fine and opens EasyDiscuss and the correct entry. It doesn't matter which language I choose for this.

My friend enters the website his language is english. He entered EasyDiscuss and commented/answered my entry. The stream showed:
Siegfried Brandt added a reply in discussion Darstellung von Kampagnen - An... (http://www.mcffa.ug/en/discussions-uk/darstellung-von-kampagnen-anpassungen-jgive)
The link leads to a 404 error. And it doesn't matter which language I choose.

How can I avoid this error?
Hello Arlex!

I changed my .htaccess file now, so that alle http://www.mcffa.ug calls are redirected to mcffa.ug
This works fine at the moment and all links are working, even those, that didn't work before.

Is there a chance, that in the near future there will be a multiligul version of EasyDiscuss (e.g. german seeing the german discussions, amaricans seeing the us/uk discussions)? With EasyBlog this works fine at the momen.

Kind regards,
Volker

Hello Volker,

I have tested this on your site and upon posting a reply, the links that are generated on the stream does seem to work correctly as you can see from my screen shot here, http://screencast.com/t/MB76PmvOwb

I have seen it while you did it. Is it possible to correct the broken links or did this happen before? If you go down on the site, you will see the broken links, I did not know why they are there and broken.
We have done the same you did.

Clicking on the link works and clicking on my links work, too. Clicking on your site changes my language settings to english. The text entered by Siegfried Brandt is still part of the discussion, but the link to it is corrupted. Although it is the same link :-(

I found out, that one is with www (not working) the other without www (working). I am sure I have not changed anything since the posts.

Hello Volker Glienke,

I'm really sorry that delayed of this reply,
May i know which is your correct domain name in your current site? http://www.yourDomainName.com || http://yourDomainName.com
I'm suspected that when the user trying to post a reply with http://www.site.com, then the URL will be included the www prefix. Please advise.

Hello Volker,

To be honest with you, we haven't really started to think about the multi lingual support for EasyDiscuss yet because it's going to be really tricky with all those ACL and stuffs. We'll see what we can do about this
