Hello team,
I have a multilingual site.

I have a problem with the title and alias when I create a profile type.

1. I put in the title field: COM_EASYSOCIAL_FIELDS_PROFILE_TITLE_PROFESSIONAL

2. Automatically creates this alias: com-easysocial-fields-title-profile professional

3. I put in the description field: COM_EASYSOCIAL_FIELDS_PROFILE_DESCRIPTION_PROFESSIONAL
-> See picture setting.jpg

As a result I have three problems

1. Backend, administrator / com_easysocial / dashboard /:
Title displays this: COM_EASYSOCIAL_FIELDS_PROFILE_TITLE_PROFESSIONAL
The title should be like this Professinal.

2. Frontend, users - Profiletype:
alias displays this: / dashboard / users / Profiletype / 2-com_easysocial_fields_profile_title_professionalProfessinal
Alias should be like this / dashboard / users / Profiletype / 2-professional

3. Frontend, users - view profile:
alias displays this: / dashboard / users / profiles / item / 2-com_easysocial_fields_profile_title_professionalProfessinal
Alias should be like this / dashboard / users / profiles / item / 2-professional
-> See picture problem-alias-and-title.jpg

I would like a board to corrected this problem.

Thanks!
Hello Serge,

We currently do not add JText on the alias and you really shouldn't add a jtext on the alias because this would really give unexpected results. As for the problems with the chart, I will add a fix for this in the next release of EasySocial

Hello Serge,

If you have already changed the "alias" property, it should be updated immediately. Do you have any cache running on the site? Have you tried clearing the cache?

I have not cache running on my site.

I think the alias is built with the name in the title column in the table #_social_profiles
because when I put just professional in title field is works good

Hello Serge,

Hm, sorry but not sure if I understand you here. If you edit the profile type to change the alias, the changes will be reflected immediately. I am not sure what are you referring to here?

Hi Mark,

I did two tests.

Test 1: I changed just alias

Test 2: I changed the title and alias

I think the alias is built with the name in the title column in the table #_social_profiles

Hello Serge,

I am sorry for the late reply since we have missed this ticket earlier.
Here I attached to you a file, can you download it and put it in this file: \administrator\components\com_easysocial\tables\profile.php and see if this does resolved your issue.

Please be advise.
Thanks.
