I've never been able to preview a blog post. When I select the preview post option, I get a 400 error page.
Hey there,

Can you please edit your first post at the top and include the following access please?

- Site Admin access (Please ensure that the user has super admin access)

- FTP access (We need this because if we use a file manager in Joomla, there are times where we have a typo and this might eventually break your entire back end and front end for instance if we are editing a system plugin). There is no way to save the site unless we have the ftp access.

I'm having the same issue, also the client tells me it sometimes doesn't save the draft. It did in my test though.

here's what it's doing. As soon as you click the preview function it says it's saving the post, then it fires off a new window and that one 404s. Meanwhile in the old window, it closes the post entirely and (usually) puts it in drafts. Seems like a bug to me.

Hey there,

I am sorry for the inconvenience caused. To preview post you have to login first at front end site as well, this is because preview post it upload by reading user ID : http://screencast.com/t/VIailcr0wEK
Please give it a try. Have a nice day .

Regards,
Fadhli

This does not work and it does not make any sense.

When I select "preview post" from the composer, it should display a preview of the post. It does not do this. Please address this bug and make this very basic feature work properly.

Logging in on the front end means I don't get errors in the composer, but I still don't get a preview of the post.

Hi Kevin,

I have tried it on both back end and front end to preview blog post on your site and it was worked just fine.
Front end preview post: http://screencast.com/t/dTovsQHH5F
May I have some screen shot of the issue that hit you? It is from back end or front end preview post?

I don't create or edit posts from the front end. The preview function needs to work in the BACK END, and it doesn't. If I'm logged in on the front end and editing in the back end, nothing happens with the preview. If I'm not logged in on the front end and preview on the back end, I get a 400 error page.

Okay — I don't know what happened. Now when I try to preview from the back end, it works okay (I do have to be logged in on the front end).

If the problem shows up again, I'll reopen the ticket.

Thanks.
