One of my guests posted some images in komento using the [img] and [url] tag. I removed these and left the url link to flicker. The links work but the images are not displayed in the post. Is there a way to get the images to show inside a komento comment?
See the last two comments in Komento related to hike L44F.
Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

If that link is show the single image, it should populate that image on the comment when you use [img ][ /img].

By the way, can you provide us with this `hike L44F` post URL so I can directly look into this?

It's ok about the weekend, I understand that
https://flic.kr/p/Kg433D shows a link to the original image on flicker and does not show an image but just removes the link.
The image link does not look like a standard image as there is no jpg, png etc in a flicker link it seems.

the URL to the post is:
https://www.torontohiking.com/tohi/eugenia-falls-to-hoggs-falls.html

I did find a way around this: Take the member posted url like (https://flic.kr/p/Kg433D) and put into browser. A large image appears from flicker. Right click on the image and select "View post info." Scroll down to og:image and select the url which includes the jpg ending. Right click on this selection and select copy. Paste that into the komento post. A smaller version of the image appears in komento. Not sure if you can make this bigger but I suppose you could link it to the original image.
Is this the best way to do this?

Thanks for understand John

Yes, you have to put the image link format which must contain with the image format e.g. jpg, gif and etc in order to populate the image on the comment.

If you would like to show more bigger image on the comment display part, you can configure the image size from backend > Komento > integration > select your component > layout > general layout > image width/height, hope this help .
