Tried to setup one Event Category and I thought there's a Save as Copy function but apparently not. I have to set each category from default

Is there a way to do this via the database? I can't find off hand where each field is related to the corresponding category. It really is a pain to have to recreate every category from scratch when each of our group categories have basically the same fields. Thanks for any help!

Hello,

Yes there is a work around to do this via database. You can go to ##_social_clusters_categories table and copy the data "type = event" and save it accordingly.

Hope these help

Right, I did see that table and tried copying an entry. It creates a new category but does not copy over the custom fields for that category.

Hello,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

I am sorry for the confusion earlier. From my knowledge, custom field is involving with a lots of tables in database that are directly connected with each other. Hence unfortunately there is no possible way to easily copy the the event category and the custom field together.

Hopefully we can improve this feature in the future release of easysocial. Hope you understand
