Dear Support members,

i see that your wonderfull extension has the jom social menu above. Do you maby know a trick where i can set this menu on every page?

Thank you in advance
Hello Cynthia,

Do you mean the EasySocial toolbar? EasySocial actually includes a toolbar module which allows you to embed the toolbar everywhere

Hello,

Sorry but I am a little lost here. Can you please elaborate more on what you are trying to achieve? If you want to display JomSocial's toolbar in EasyBlog and EasyDiscuss, there's already a settings for this on both of the respective components

Hello Cynthia,

You should take a look at the codes in /components/com_easyblog/controllers/controller.php You should consider switching over to EasySocial We already have a module that does this, so you don't need to do anything else.

Dear Mohd,

Thank you for your offer, only we do not have FTP for security reasons. However... in short while we have github. Will that be oke? Otherwise you also could send the codings to me. It would really help me alot and would be most grateful.

I'm currently trying to get the jomsocial bar on other components in the joomla system and I got some jomsocialbar php codes from the controller.php. The next thing Ive to do is to add the php codes to the controllers from other components (for example: com_xius), but that one doesnt have a controller.php... So where do I have to add those codes. The structure will probably be different too...

Hello Cynthia,

To be honest, I really can't help you with this because I have no idea where is the central code for this. You should check this with them

Hi Cynthia,

I am sorry but this actually required quite a number of works to achieve this and, to be honest with you, we usually do not support this kind of customisation

Hello Cynthia,

Unfortunately the app that you are using is not created by us, so you should contact the person that created that app and ask them where would be the best place to place a code that appears everywhere throughout the component
