Unfortunately the picture is not showed anymore, just text. This has worked in the past and is new for me.
I hope you can halp me.

Thanks & BR
Michael
Hi Arlex

It's working in the meantime
I have compared the xmlrpc from original joomla-plugin and changed the code accordingly. See screenshot.
I hope it helps to implement.

Hello

I didn't change anything in easyblog the last few months. Only installation of updates and "last comments module".
Is there any data loss when we reinstall the component? If no, then I don't see any problem...

Hello Michael Joos,

Sorry for late reply to this,
Because I have tried in my local, everything is work fine. I also noticed when the blosy send the blog post content in your server, then the html tag is missing, it seems to strip out the Angle brackets Ex:
( < ) ( > )
, check my attachment screenshot below.

I have tried search in google, we found out some similar case with this -> http://wordpress.org/support/topic/xmlrpcphp-striping-html
This post is similar with your current issues and i noticed they have mentioned about this libxml2 issues in older version, check this reference link :
https://josephscott.org/archives/2009/02/update-on-libxml2-issues/
https://josephscott.org/archives/2009/03/conclusion-of-libxml2-issues-use-php-529-libxml2-273/

I have checked in your libxml2 version from your php information, it seems like you're using the older version 2.6.26
Can you try request with your Webhosting provider to help you update libxml2 version to 2.7.8 and see how it goes?

Hi

Now I have updated to Version 2.7.8.
This was only possible with update of PHP to 5.4

Now I'm not able to upload pictures from blogsy at all and I see these error messages on the right side (modules).
I hope Easyblog is compatible with PHP 5.4?

Update: Error-Messages are fixed now with configuration in Joomla
Update1: Upload working and picture showing!

And maybe you can have a look on this:

- there is no email in queue (new post) when i send a post from blogsy
- uploaded posts from easyblog are showed with a complete wrong timestamp in blogsy

Thanks for your great support!!

Hello. Yes posting pictures from blogsy is working again. Thanks for that

No, it's not when I schedule a post. In blogsy I can open the already existing posts in easyblog (right top corner next to new post). And there I see funny dates like 1th December 2013, 2nd December 2013....

CronJob is running as I got mails from posts created directly in EasyBlog. But posts created with Blogsy don't create mails. Even not pending

Thanks & BR

Hello Michael Joos,

I'm really sorry that missed up this post thread,

#1. No, it's not when I schedule a post. In blogsy I can open the already existing posts in easyblog (right top corner next to new post). And there I see funny dates like 1th December 2013, 2nd December 2013....
>> That was strange, do you mean the date it not showing currently date?

#2. CronJob is running as I got mails from posts created directly in EasyBlog. But posts created with Blogsy don't create mails. Even not pending
>> I have checked in your setting and your Joomla User, it seems like you have set the custom email address to "didi" and "Michael Joos" in that particular field, so when both of them publish a blog post, the email notification will not send out. If you remove "didi" from the custom email address that column, then you try using this "didi" publish a blog post, the email notification should be notify to "Michael Joos", because "didi" is under the register user group. Hope this help.

Hi Arlex

Thanks for your answer!

Pont 1: Yes, the date that I see for each post is not the date that the post has been published. All posts has been issued in 2014. You can try with blogsy. It "happens" somehow in /components/com_easyblog/controllers/xmlrpc.php on line 1412:

'dateCreated' => new xmlrpcval($dateCreated->toISO8601(), 'dateTime.iso8601'),

Pint 2: Not sure if this is the point. I see a difference between posting from frontend and blogsy. From frontend when I post something with "Michael Joos" then a message goes out to "didi". But with blogsy nothing happens.

Thanks & BR
Michael

Hello Michael Joos,

I'm really sorry that delayed of this reply,
I have create a xmlrpc.txt text file from your site for error log to receive the data -> JoomlaFolder/components/com_easyblog/controllers/
Can you try to publish a new blog post via blogsy apps? So I can check the error log from this file xmlrpc.txt.

May i know where you saw this error in your screen?
You can try with blogsy. It "happens" somehow in /components/com_easyblog/controllers/xmlrpc.php on line 1412:

'dateCreated' => new xmlrpcval($dateCreated->toISO8601(), 'dateTime.iso8601'),

Is it possible provide us again with your Joomla backend access? Because I have tried to access but i getting this :
Warning
You do not have access to the administrator section of this site.

Hi Arlex

Thanks for your reply.

1. I have published a new post from blogsy "Stackideas Test"

2. Now when I open the list of already published posts in blogsy I see for the same post creation date of 7. Decembre 2013 --> See picture posts.jpg
This happens to all other posts as well. I have tried to figure out by myself and I guess it has to do with 'dateCreated' in "xmlrpc.php"

3. For the new post "Stackideas Test" no mail was sent to "di2@sunrise.ch". In blogsy I have sent from account "ich@michael-joos.ch". From my point of view a mail should be sent to "di2@sunrise.ch" but not to myself.

4. This is new now: For the new post "Stackideas Test" I have selected categorie "Mal da, mal dort". But it was published in category "Schottland 2009"

5. Changed your account again to Super Administrator

I hope you can help me in all these things. Otherwiese Blogsy is not really an option for me.

Thanks & BR
Michael

Hi Arlex

Thanks for your answer!

I got the reason for point 4. It looks that "commas" in categories can not be handled either by easyblog or blogsy. "Mal da mal dort" is working, but not "Mal da, mal dort". OK, this is solved now...

For Point 2 and 3 I can not see any changes

Hello Michael Joos,

I'm sorry that delayed of this reply,
Regarding with your point 4 :
That's strange, because I have manually added a new category (Mal da, mal dort) and publish a blog post under this category, that is work fine without auto change to another category. Check my screenshot : http://screencast.com/t/zFn7gzAT
Is it this only happening in create a blog post from blogsy?

Regarding with your point 2 & 3 :
After I applied some fixes in your site, the result also show in same result post creation date of 7. Decembre 2013 something?

Hi Arlex

Yes, Point 4 only happening from Blogsy
For Point 2 & 3: Yes I can't see any changes on that. Dates are still something like 7. Decembre 2013

Hi Arlex

It's not the date that I mean. It's the date when I read back the post to blogsy

Hello Michael Joos,

Oh, I really sorry that keep misunderstood in your previous reply
It seems like that was not our issues, because you can see that when you send blog post via blogsy, the date is show correctly in Easyblog even Joomla backend and frontend. Check my screenshot below.
Did you agree with that?

Hi Arlex

Thanks. I'm not sure if it is an issue of easyblog or blogsy. The interface for that is in my understanding in xmlrpc.php (getRecentPosts).
I have marked it in the screenshot. If on your site everything is OK, do you have an address to contact someone for blogsy?

Thanks & BR
