Hi guys, me again! I set EasySocial to store images in Amazon and set my credentials. I left the bucket blank, as the tooltip said it would be automatically created. However, I do not see any images in my Amazon S3 account from EasySocial.

Tonight I created the bucket 'kdr-easysocial' and changed the bucket in settings to this value. I don't know if that will make a difference or not.

I did NOT change the folder paths in Settings > Storage. Do I need to set these to Amazon as well?
hello Beth Gardner,

I have checked in your site, I'm suspect you haven't set up the cronjob in your site, so when the user upload some image file in Easysocial,

it will not automatically process store in your Amazon S3, Can I have your Cpanel access so we can help you configure with this?

by the way, try provide us with your Amazon S3 access so we can able to check the image file is it get uploaded? Please advise.

I host with cloudaccess, so I don't have access to cronjobs. They set it up for me. Is it separate from the regular con job? Mail is going out so I know that one is working.

Hello Beth Gardner,

Sorry for late reply to this,
Because if I manually run this cron command http://yourDomainSite.com/index.php?option=com_easysocial&cron=true
The system give me this result, it should be uploaded 10 photos in your Amazon S3.
[{"status":"200","contents":"There is nothing to dispatch currently.","time":"2014-10-20 05:43:02"},{"status":"200","contents":"10 photos uploaded to remote storage","time":"2014-10-20 05:43:02"},{"status":"200","contents":"No avatars to upload to Amazon S3 right now.","time":"2014-10-20 05:43:02"},{"status":"200","contents":"Nothing to process for files","time":"2014-10-20 05:43:02"},{"status":"200","contents":"Stream items archived successfully","time":"2014-10-20 05:43:02"}]

Is it possible provide us with your Amazon S3 access so we can take a look of this? Please advise.

It's working now the cron has been updating. My guess is that the toolip that advised I could leave it blank and the bucket would be created was not accurate. Once I created the bucket and put the name in, it started working, You might want to check on that, and maybe just change the instructions in the tooltip if it doesn't actually create the bucket.

Hello Beth,

Glad to hear your issue is resolves. However, I have checked the codes and it seems like the code for auto bucket creation is there. When the Amazon bucket is empty, the system will initialize the bucket and stored it for you. Is it possible provide us with your Amazon S3 access so we can take a look of this?

Please be advise.
Thanks.
