Hi

I'm struggling with the photo albums in ES 1.2. I want to share photo albums with the public but manage them within the private community. Only certain albums should be published to the public, not all and the public page shouldn't display elements from the community like the profile header or filters...

As I've seen this isn't going well with the actual implementation of photo albums in ES. I think the SimGallery could solve this problem. But before buying I want to ask if there are some significant changes regarding photo albums in ES 1.3?

Thank you and kind regards, Stefan
Hello Stefan,

We don't actually have any structural changes on the albums of EasySocial 1.3 but what privacy issues do you have with them? The owner of the album can actually customize the privacy of the albums eh?

Hi Mark

Thank you for the fast reply! Actually it's not a privacy issue because EasySocial is working as expected. What I try to do (and now have done with SIMGallery) is to display photo albums created within EasySocial on a public part of the website. But without any links to EasySocial or any elements of EasySocial (toolbar, "new album" and so on). Just display the album as gallery. Like normal gallery apps do. But as I said. I managed do this with SIMGallery (but another free gallery would have done the same job too ).

From my side there is no need to take some further action on this.

Thank you
