Hi there, I tried registering on your demo site. And this is what I did (I believe you have 20 image limit per day)
1. Upload 50 images
2. Error shows up saying you're only allowed to upload x photos
3. hit post/submit
4. No images in the album uploaded (the first 20)
5. Can't upload more photos yet no images show in album despite me having a limit already

Please be informed this is done in the ES demo site.
It's not a bug, 20 is the default maximum.
Checkout site/administrator/index.php?option=com_easysocial&view=profiles&layout=form&id=1 > Access > Photos > Maximum photo upload per day

Hi there Josh, actually i'm pointing out step 4. After uploading, there's no image in my album. So as a user, I should be still allowed to upload since there's no photos attached in my album.

Whoops, I was caught up in the other steps. On my end the uploads worked until it reached the limit. The rest of the photos failed as expected. Ideally there should be an indicator when the limit is reached before clicking the add photos button (as in once the user reaches the upload limit for the day). This way users don't select a lot of photos for nothing. Anyways that's a different issue.

Hello ken,

Sorry for late reply to this,
I have a little bit lost here, I have tested in our demo site and uploaded 20 photo, check my result below :
When i start uploading 21th photo, then hitting the 20 photo limit per day, so you have to delete it and click "Share". Those image only can store in your story album.
After finish everything, then you would like to share photo again, then it will show up this warning message.
If I missing something here, can you elaborate more details regarding this? And list down step by step how to replicate on your current issues.
At the same time, can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access as well? Please advise.

Great to see the max limit message in the status box, what about the add photos button? It's a bigger deal with albums because people might think they can add a bunch of photos when they reached their daily limit. While selecting a dozen photos doesn't take that long, meticulous selection will be done in vain which will lower the user experience.

Hi there Arlex!

Here's how i did it.
1. Upload 30 photos at the same time (please do this)
2. After 10 errors, press submit
3. It won't be posted in your album, now you don't have any pictures anywhere, try uploading again it will say you reached your limit

Hello Josh Lewis,

Sorry for late reply to this,
If the user see that photo icon suddenly missing then they do not know what happening.
At least the user click on that icon then they will know that photo uploaded limit reached per day.

Right, but that's after attempting to upload a lot of photos. Ideally the following message box should also display on the album page (only on the ones they own of course):

This way it will be clear to the user they cannot upload more photos and will save them from a failed attempt. Reliability builds confidence, if the users are left in the dark about their upload limits for the day it can be one more factor that discourages them from posting after seeing their upload efforts wasted.
