Hi Guys

suddenly the page for comments on photos won't load any more after clicking the link in the notification email.

I think it might have to do with the recent customization mark did for us.

I don't actually save the login credentials on my computer. Can you please provide them again? Also, provide me with the link to the page that is generated from the email so that I can test this.

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply. I just tried to access your site but it seems like your site is returning the following error when I'm trying to login,
Warning
Failed to authenticate: Access Denied


By the way you did mentioned that this might related with some customization that Mark did on your site. May I know what kind of customization that you talking about here?

It was a change in the story form, only inside groups the post area is available now.

Also when I trying to login with your WHM server, I getting this :

I've tried to access in your Joomla backend again, but I still hitting the same issue.

I've tried to access in your backend again, but it still can't work.

Can you try enable error reporting to maximum from your backend > System > global configuration > server ?

After you enable it, try open your image page and see what error you hitting.

If it still show blank page, can you open the page source then scroll down on the page and see is it got show any fatal error?

I am sorry for the delay of this reply,

Finally I can access in your site now, I've checked in your Easysocial backend email activity and click on that button which email `GeorgeHomie posted a comment on a photo` , it seems work fine without hitting blank page.

Perhaps you can try generate another new email so that we can reproduce this issue again?

By the way, I noticed you still using very old version of Easysocial 1.3.11 , I would like recommended you can consider to update to latest version, because compare with 1.3.11 we already fixed a lot of bugs, I believe this issue will be solved in latest version.

Hi Arlex indeed lately the issue is no longer happen, strange! It fixed itself.

We do have the issue with everything being blue though.

I would like to update but after doing so i will have to re-do all the language files - also theres a few customizations which would need to be done again.

Is there any way you can help with this?

One customization was done by you - the other a different programmer.

All the language file changes were done in the overwrite file, but sometimes the overwrite file didn't work (probably due to updates) - so i changed it directly in the normal file. Those ones will take me about 5 hours to re-do but i understood theres a program for doing that quickly ...?

Thanks for getting back to us that issue resolved.

But unfortunately that was no quickly way to re-do all of your current customization, unless you backup all of your customization file then re-do it part by part.

our gtmetrix reports are very good after server optimization, but as soon we log in to easysocial the pages are slow to load.

Will the update fix that issue as well?

My internet is super fast as you can see in this video, but the page in easysocial just keeps waiting and waiting for over a minute, and then suddenly it shoots to the next page.

If this is fixed by updating then its worth it for sure to invest a few days. The slowness became worse with time.

In my suggestion, it would be best if you can setup a test server, then copy your existing live site all the data into this test server, after that update to latest version then test the page speed is it got improve or not.

If everything look fine, then you have to consider to update your live site.
