Hi

A quick heads up :on the latest ES, Online friends no longer show on the dashbord
Hello Peter,

This only affects the "friends" table. Unless these "new" signups made some friend requests, you should be fine. Do you have a backup of the friend's db?

Do you have Skype? I will help you restore them. Please add me on Skype via marklee_777

Hello Peter,

We're still troubleshooting this issue but rest assured that the data is still intact.

Hello Peter,

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but it does seem like there was a bug in one of the SQL query generated in the 1.3.9 update which actually deleted all the friends connection on the site

Do you have any backups available? Is it possible to restore from the backup? You would only need the #__social_friends table's data back.

Thanks for updating Peter, I am really sorry for the inconveniences caused. It was my fault for coding it blindly and I will ensure that this mistake will never ever happen again.
