Hi - I'm trying to use easyblog on a one page website. link http://www.jandoesnatural.co.uk/onepage. I have displayed the blog using a roksprocket module. When you click on an item it displays on the frontpage rather than as a discrete item making the whole thing looking a bit messy. Is there any option to display the blog on its own?

David
Brilliant Thanks

Hi David Ward,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

I have a little bit lost here, can you provide us some screenshot which part are you mentioned that is messy?

Can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can better have a look?

Hi Arlex,

Thanks for your reply. I'm sure I didn't explain myself well enough. When you open the website it all looks pretty good. When you press on one of the blog items it opens but also contains the other elements of the homepage (see the jandoesnatural1arr.png attachement) but I would prefer it open as an individual attachement (see the other attachement). Hope that is clearer.

I have recently moved to use easyblog from K2 and really like it. The only issue I am really having is how to make it appear whilst looking attractive on the site. I'm sure I'm missing something. It looks really good as a menu item but when you try to put it as a module I am struggling. I tried to use some of the modules from your site but it really didn't look that good.

I would be delighted to give you access to the back end. Is this a private ticket? I haven't set FTP up but again more than happy to do this if you would like.

Kind Regards,

David

Hi Arlex,

Thanks for your reply.

I've included login details.

FTP isn't set up unfortunately.

Would be great if it is related to just a misconfiguration.

Kind Regards,

David

Hi David Ward,

By right, you have to create the Easyblog frontpage layout menu item in your site, by the way, I already help you created this menu item and put in hidden menu, then I set Easyblog configuration SEO behaviour to use menu item id "1162", it should work fine now.

please have a check.
