backup has been completed. We'd apprecaite if you could extensivel the test if the floating ShareBar Pro works and og:image is fetched properly instead of the placeholder-image.png.

after the backup I used the launcher and updated EB myself successfully.
"Installation Completed! Congratulations! EasyBlog has been successfully installed on your site and you may start using it."

I checked and the og:image is fetched properly 99% of the cases, not all unfortunately.
Any ideas why?

I'd appreciate a quick solution.

One more question: how do I remove the "Powered by EasyBlog for Joomla!" footer, pl?

It seems like you have enable Gzip compression in Joomla global configuration settings, actually that was known issue in Joomla regarding the Open Graphs for Facebook doesn't work when you enable Gzip.

When I turn it off, it work fine correctly. You can copy one of the post URL and paste in Facebook debugger tool -> https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object/ , it will show the correct image.

many thanks for investigaing it. Before the upgrade Googled for solution and I disabled Gzip, but enabled again, because it did not help at that time.
