I use both EasyBlog and sh404sef. In hopes of improving things, I followed some of the advice you have given other users with sh404sef, but now I am

I have a menu item for All Categories, and then individual menu items for each of my four categories. The page links at the bottom of the page work for the 'All Categories' menu item, but not for the the individual Category pages. For instance, if I go to School News and try to proceed to the second page of posts, EasyBlog tries to take me to:
http://rosthernjuniorcollege.ca/school-news/categories/listings/Page-2.html

This throws an error with se404sef and I am prompted to:
http://rosthernjuniorcollege.ca/rjc-news/categories/listings/school-news/Page-2.html

I can't figure out which setting is causing this error.
Hello Grant Martens,

Sorry for late reply to this,
Can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can help you check on this? Please advise.

Here are the credentials. I created a new SuperUser account and a new FTP user account for you to use rather than give you my credentials.

Hello Grant Martens,

Sorry for late reply to this,
I have noticed if you click on view all categories menu item > school news, then the URL is showing :
http://rosthernjuniorcollege.ca/rjc-news/categories/listings/school-news.html

If you click on each category menu item :
http://rosthernjuniorcollege.ca/school-news/categories/listings/school-news.html

It seems like the system do not get the unique menu item.

Can i have the permission help you reconfigure the menu item and remove all your Easyblog SEF URL from your SH404SEF, so it will regenerate the new URL and see how it goes? Please advise.

Hello Grant Martens,

Thanks for getting back to us quickly,
I have help you configure the SEO setting from your backend > EasyBlog > Setting > SEO > advanced setting tab > select "Default" and see all "NO"
Once I finish this, then I trying to delete with duplicate URL EasyBlog link from SH404SEF, it pop up 500 internal server error, check my screenshot below.

Is there a way delete all the EasyBlog SEF URL from Sh404SEF, so it will generate the new URL and see is it solve this issues? Perhaps you consult with SH404SEF provider regarding this 500 Internal error first? Please advise.

Hello Grant Martens,

Thanks for getting back to us quickly,
May i know how did you delete the Easyblog url in sh404sef without hitting 500 internal error? Because that was very helpful for us continuous to investigate this issues when change again the SEO setting from Easyblog or create a new menu item.
If you delete from database, can we have your database access so we can clear it immediately after change some setting? Please advise.

Sorry in the delay. I missed your response. Issue is still unresolved.

1) Components > sh404SEF > Url Manager
2) Search for 'easyblog' to filter out only Easyblog urls
3) Select items in list and delete

You can safely increase the number of items shown per page to 50, but I have found that if I display and try to delete 100 or All items, the process times out.

Cheers

Hello Grant Martens,

Sorry for late reply to this,
I have tried to created a hidden menu item for Easyblog blog layout, so it should work fine now. Can you give it a try and see how it goes? Please advise.
