Any news when you are going develop a new version with a fresh design? Or do you want to drop this? I am asking while I will pay a lot of money for the template customisation.

Best regards
Hi Benjamin,

Thank you for your inquiry. Justin here, from Stack Ideas' marketing team. Currently we have just launched the anticipated EasyBlog 5. While it's fresh in the market, we're focusing more on EasySocial 1.4. Though we have plans and drafts on EasyDiscuss, the development is a tad bit slow as we're pushing ourselves to release EasySocial 1.4 first.

Hope this answers your question. Let me know if there's anything more that I can assist you with.

Fair enough, seems like EasyDiscuss is over being known for several great products and wants to be known for only a couple.. thus is the way of most successful things.

At any rate. EasyDiscuss is still a fantastic product. Nothing wrong with it at all.

I would however like to see more of an inline Admin template.

Meaning? If your an admin to the system hosting EasyDiscuss then you have more freedom to say Blog in a sense. Using a more involved editor for admin would be wonderful. We regularly treat our EasyDiscuss forums as also a form of Guide and Knowledgebase. So being able to add in more html styling would be a critical leap in our loyalties and use. At this time... our support staff are too busy to have to worry about YET ANOTHER platform for making post. We use EasyDiscuss and the standard joomla article content manager.. that's it. Adding more to EasyDiscuss would be great as it keeps us focused and able to better deliver communications.

Hopefully we'll see something before a year from now.... but I doubt it.

It's problems such as this above that we have considered seeking out other known solutions for forum software.

Thanks for heading up on this, currently we redesign the Easydiscuss backend styling and haven't start any new plan yet because we just released Easysocial 1.4.

Hi Benjamin,

Yes we already start to plan about the new design in easydiscuss 4.0 but the design is not finalized yet so we cannot give any insight yet on what the design will look like. We will keep you updated with our blog update from time to time.
