Hi guys,
The new EasyBlog 5 looks good! Great job. I have also noticed some improvements to the current templates.

I find the current template designs a bit out dated. It is very difficult to compete with some Wordpress templates. When are you expecting to release some new templates for EasyBlog 5?
Hi Farid,

Thank you very much for your support & using EasyBlog.
I find the current template designs a bit out dated. It is very difficult to compete with some Wordpress templates.
As a component developer, we designed our component to be inside our customer's Joomla template, compare to WordPress, the themes is designed for the WordPress blog and template itself. By being in our customer's Joomla templates, some of the design elements is limited in order to make it easier to blend in.

With EasyBlog, we have tons of settings, we also have to consider the display of the blog itself if some settings is enabled & disabled.

When are you expecting to release some new templates for EasyBlog 5?
The EasyBlog stable release is only about a few weeks, and as for now we are more focusing on bug fix and support to make it more stable. This EB5 comes with 2 new templates, check out Cobalt & Nickel. But if you have any suggestion on any WordPress theme that could be a reference to us, it is welcome to suggest here.

Hope this will help, please advice

Hi Ikram,
Thank you for your elaborate reply.

Ok. Is it possible to embed blogs in different parts of the site in order to create interactive pages? For example adding buttons and other call to actions? Is there a tutorial which explains how to integrate EasyBlog intro different parts of the site, instead of just using one page for the blogs? I am thinking about things like landing-pages. This way i can fully utilize the template designs whit the funcionlality of the EasyBlog.

Where can I find the Cobalt theme? i cannot find the theme between themes in EasyBlog backed. Or should i download them separately?

Thanks again,
Cheers

Hi Farid Rostami,

I am sorry for the late reply.

i am not sure what do you mean by "embed blogs in different parts of the site in order to create interactive pages. For example adding buttons and other call to actions?" Can you please explain more so that we can understand you better. If you wish to customize EasyBlog, then I believe it could be possible to do. However, it would be outside of our support scope to assist you with customization.

I believe Cobalt theme is only available for EasyBlog Unlimited. I am really sorry for the confusion occurs.

By the way, if this customization is a priority, please do post them on our sales section at https://crm.stackideas.com and our sales department would get back to you with a proper quote.

Hope this can helps and please advise.
