Thanks, I don't have permissions on my ftp to upload this file, is there any other way to correct the problem? If not, I will find a way to replace with the file sent. Just asking before I contact others to find out how to upload the file.

You can temporary disabled all the email notification but just left "Notify admins on new posts" to YES, then you put your email address into `Custom address` section, you can prefer on my attached screenshot below.

After that you create a new registered user account then go to your frontend and submit a new discussion post, so that the system will only send this new post email notification to your custom email.

So I tried uploading the post.php file, and updated to the latest release of the discussion board. My email however are still showing the html code in the new post sent. Not sure what else can be done?

I've tried in my locally, it seems work fine, can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can better have a check? (I will only turn on the notification which send to admin account)

I added joomla backend and ftp access. Feel free to replace the custom email address. Also, when I test it, emails still go out to others, so after sending, I Immediately go into Email Activity, and erase the pending emails except for mine. Please don't let them all send out, they go to the higherups!

Also, another problem is when I try selecting "Read this Discussion" at the bottom of the html email or the plain text email. It doesn't select, it's like the hyperlink doesn't work?

I attached again the issues to look at just to be clear.

I've applied some fix in this file JoomlaFolder\administrator\components\com_easydiscuss\includes\mailer\mailer.php , it should work fine now.

By the way, I've checked that `read this discussion` button is linkable, but I noticed you do not have create one of the Easydiscuss - frontpage menu item in your site, then causing the link is not show correct.

Is there anyway you can make it so that the "Read the Discussion" button goes to this link? It's prohibited only to a few people linking to the direct page doesnt always work.

If you would like to modify that link, you have to customize on this email template file to achieve this

JoomlaFolder\components\com_easydiscuss\themes\wireframe\emails\email.subscription.site.new.html.php

Hi, I had an extra question. The "Read the Discussion" button on the email sent dont seem to be links. Only place I can use it is on my iphone. I can't select the link on my desktop through yahoo or outlook. That was the last question regarding this post. Thanks, have a good weekend.
