I read in the changelog that there is new functionality added with 1.3.20. Browse users. However, what is new about it?

I disabled the tool bar and created my own menu's and one of the menu options is to browse the userlist. I had this also in previous versions of easysocial. Looking at the screenshots of the new functionality in 1.3.20 about this new function browse users, I do not see any difference in this added functionality and the way I implemented it with a self created menu item....

Am I missing something here, or is it just that it has been added to something (default menu in the toolbar) that I dont use, but was already there If You create Your own menu's?
Hello cbais,

The new feature is actually, the admin now can choose to enable or disable the Browse User link (http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-03-05_1021.png). it is nothing to do with the Browse user page. It is just a very minor feature. Because some users want to turn off this Browse Users link in their toolbar. Then we just add the option to turn it off in the backend.

Hello cbais,

The new feature is actually the toggle option for the Browse User link only as you can see in Backend>Easysocial>Themes>Wireframe>Toolbar. The option is for this: http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-03-05_1021.png

Hi Nik,

I think someone already reported this but I'll mention it anyways

The option is only visible in Wireframe but it doesn't exists in Frosty.

Thanks,

Jackson

Hi LAC,

Thank you for your response. Yep, Andy reported this issue in our blog post. Our developer have already fixed this internally; the updated version should be out soon.

Thank you again for reminding us.

This is not what I meant. I read that blogposting and the comments. Had seen it was not implemented in frosty.

Let me it explain it with a screenshot.

I haven't updated yet to 1.3.20. I am still running 1.3.19. (with wireframe). I have created a menu item to browse through the users and that looks exactly the same as this so called new feature.....

Also attached picture of this new feature that is used in the blogposting. What are the differences?

(i dont use the toolbar and i dont use the dating search module, so those differences are easy, but the userlist looks exactly the same at my site still running 1.3.19 (but had this browse users a lot sooner) as this new feature that is added in 1.3.20)

Thank You Nik Faris, that explains......

I read it differently on the blogposting. Thought it was something new.
I have created my own top-down menu, to be more flexible'. I disabled the toolbar because I don't need it :-)
