1) Can I have a dependent field?
I have a field Subject, Can I add a dependent filed on this, and populate the field with different categories.

2) Can I assign a user to a group based on a picklist value (Subjects) without asking the user during registration?

Please help me this is for an urgent delivery of a project.

I am sorry but unfortunately this is not possible yet at this point of time.


2) Can I assign a user to a group based on a picklist value (Subjects) without asking the user during registration?

Sorry but this is not possible currently. If you need this, you will need to customize the custom field app to assign users into group when they register on the site.
