Multiple emails of same messages. Urgent!

Hello,

Users are complaining of multiple emails of notifications. In some instances, users have had upto 12 of the exact same message within a second.

This is a major issue as people are now asking to delete their accounts.

My Cron jobs are also affected as the messages get duplicated. I've had to disable.

Please assist.

Similar issues seems to have occurred with easy blog.
