.mov file in EzBlog post does not load

Hy stackideas team,

I have successfully loaded a .mov file (quicktime video clip) 4.5MB in my medias. I have also included the media in the post. In the front end, the mediaplayer appears correctly in the post details.(JWPlayer).

However, when I try to play the movie, I get an error from the player : "error loading media : file could not be played". Did I miss some parameters ?

Thanks, I have had a hard time finding which formats where supported. In a nutshell, it Mp4 or Mp4.

Hello Caizergues,

The error is actually coming from the jwplayer itself and currently easyblog video system is actually using jwplayer plugin. It seems like jwplayer does not support .mov extension as you can see from the jw player article FAQ here, http://support.jwplayer.com/customer/portal/articles/1403682-common-error-messages . I will quote their statement below.
This usually means you are trying to load a file in a non-supported format in JW Player. A common case is the loading of a .wmv video, or a .mov video that doesn't use the H264 video codec


Perhaps you can try use another format and see if that will fix the issue. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.
