Is there a way to edit the email templates so they don't revert to default every time I apply a software update? There doesn't seem to be any override options. I'm just adding the site logo to the header on all emails.

Richard
Hello Richard,

You could actually place these theme files under /templates/JOOMLA_TEMPLATE/html/com_easyblog/

Awesome. I didn't think you could override the email templates like any other component's /views/tmpl/ file. What directory would I put after /templates/JOOMLA_TEMPLATE/html/com_easyblog/???/ for the email views?

I'm changing the logo after every single update too!

It's quick to do and I've got used to it, but yes would be nice if there was a setting somewhere to change the default mail logo and avoid the need for the manual override... I'm assuming 9 out of 10 users are changing the logo all the time.

That's a vague response. Does this mean it is not possible to create regular Joomla overrides in /templates/JOOMLA_TEMPLATE/html/com_easyblog/?? for EasyBlog email templates?

Is this a feature that will be available in EasyBlog 4?

Hi Richard,

I am sorry for my vague response. As my colleague mention before, you can actually place these theme files under /templates/JOOMLA_TEMPLATE/html/com_easyblog/

Sorry for the miscommunication. Have a nice day.

Thanks, but my question still is do I put the files I want to override directly in /templates/JOOMLA_TEMPLATE/html/com_easyblog/ or do I need to use to /templates/JOOMLA_TEMPLATE/html/com_easyblog/themes/default/ . The email files I wish to override are in components/com_easyblog/themes/default/
