Do the Moderation Tools need to be turned on? If so where? and is it possible for the admin to log someone out or is that done through Joomla? Thanks!
Hi Peter,

I am sorry but I'm not quite understand what do you mean by moderation tool. Can you elaborate more on this?

and is it possible for the admin to log someone out or is that done through Joomla? Thanks!

Currently Easysocial does not have the ability to force logout a user via its own settings since joomla already have this feature on joomla dashboard page.

Hey Peter,

The moderation tools would appear on a person's profile page. This will only be displayed if you are an admin of the site

Do you have a custom theme? Did you apply any custom template overrides?

Hi Peter,

Regarding your issue, it was caused by your mis-configuration of your Joomla user groups. Please see:

http://screencast.com/t/xvaxhA2V
http://screencast.com/t/R00tPrVUDB

You've configured all your Joomla user group ( even the public group ) to have the super admin access. Meaning to say, everyone in your site now is the super admin.

EasySocial do not allow a super admin to moderate another super admin thus you are not seeing the moderation tool.

I strongly advise you to re-adjust your permission on your Joomla user groups

Hope this help and have a nice day!
Sam

Hey Peter,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is actually a public day off for us here. I would strongly suggest you to not mess around with the ACL settings if you aren't sure what you are doing.

Your access settings in Joomla seems to be messed up and I have reverted it back to the same settings as I have with the stock installation of Joomla now.

By the way, may I also suggest that you should update your Joomla to the latest version
