Hi there,

First of all I think this is ridiculous... the only way to migrate older blogs (easyblog 3.x ) to the new version (5.x) is to dump tables, import tables in new site install 3.9 and then install 5.x !!!!

WTF !! you have compiled migration tools for pretty much everything except the simplest of things!! Also no way to download older versions if not by getting an email ???

Really guys ..your support is really bad !!! Please send me a version that i can use to migrate my blogs THANK YOU !!
Hey Patrick,

I am really sorry but we do not have a migrator that migrates from older versions of EasyBlog. You do not need a migrator as you just need to install the new version on top of the existing version to upgrade from 3.x to 5.x.

Yes and that's exactly why I think this is not very good... and that you should really make it VERY clear for people as not everyone is just "upgrading".

I am building a new site for a client and so I need to install an older version of easyblog .. WHERE DO I GET THIS ?? and WHY on earth is it not available on your website ???

Thanks for the heads up on this Patrick but you don't really need to install 3.9 on your site if you have already "imported" the database. You just need to install EasyBlog 5 on the site and it will sync the database accordingly.
