Hello,

I just realized that Easyblog posts meta keywords are showing strangely in code, ej:

<meta name="keywords" content="keyword1, keyword2, keyword3, keyword4, keyword5" />

See the blank spaces after comma.

And should be like this:

<meta name="keywords" content="keyword1, keyword2, keyword3, keyword4, keyword5" />

Could you please fix it?

This is not a bug and these meta data doesn't actually do any harm. Our javascript library needs to access these data.

Hello,

Well, if its not a bug, what is it? since it is not "normal" or correct. You have to take in account that even keywords are not a important part of code or for search engines every part of the site must to be the best it can more now with the semantic philosophy.

And up to now nobody can confirm that those meta data are not counting in a global count of site quality, what yes we can confirm is that they are misspelled.

So please explain to me if is not a strange easyblog behavior when adding keywords on code (is the first time I see it and I'm working with SEO since 2006).

Quality has to be present in all we do, even in the smaller thing, so if just one people see those text in code it has to be correct not like is it right now.

I have installed easyblog in other Joomla site and keywords are showing right (without blank space), so it is a "thing" of this latest version.

To be frank I do not like to have those meta data misspelled and it would be nice and correct that you fix it.

Best regards.

I think there are some misunderstanding here. The meta data is NOT keywords. Please look at the "name",

Google bot only searches for the name="keyword".

Hey Antoniosan,

I am sorry for missed up this post thread, can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can better have a check?

Also, may i know which page can replicate this issue on your site?

By the way, in the future you can just include your site's access once at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site rather than needing to keep adding them in your replies

I have not any site clon at the moment and can not give FTP access to the production page but you can check it in any easy blog post.

"""Also, may i know which page can replicate this issue on your site?""" -->> All easyblog posts

Did not understand your comment about our site access ¿did I included any access data in my replies?

Regards.

Hey Antoniosan,

We can't reproduce this issue on our end and we have no idea as to where these "spaces" are being generated from. On our local instance, the meta keywords are appearing correctly.

The only way for us to test this is to test this directly on your site. If you are unable to provide us with the back end and FTP password, it is close to impossible for us to test and fix this if necessary.
