I also think, that possibility to mark all discussions as read is VERY IMPORTANT. As for example new user registers to site and he would like to participate viewing NEW (unread) discussions but all the time he sees red label like "740", He is not able to read all those 740 old discussions, but he deffinetly would like to see new (unread) discussions from the moment he started participating in the forum (from the time he resets counting).

Currently we do not have add this feature yet, for now that is not possible to run SQL query to update it for all the user because it related a few table and need to update the json data into this table #__discuss_users > `posts_read` columns.

I would just like to come back to this and say that you are wrong, sorry! hehe.

You have this feature added in but hidden away. To mark all posts as read you go to:

Easy Discuss -> Edit Profile -> Others -> Mark all as read. See:

I found it after we had already written a query to mark them all read.

Great news it does exist, but is it possible to put a button for this in the forum itself? People are expecting this in the forum itself and not in a profile.

Currently that was not possible to achieve this.
