Hi!
I would like to know if EasyBlog have this feature, or if it can be added for future versions:
I would like to manage my FUTURE blog posts by adding them on a queue. And this queue would automatically post the next post every certain time i could specify.
For example, i have 3 post ive written:
"post num 1"
"post num 2"
"post num 3"

i add them to the queue, and configure to publish the next one on the queue every thursday at 10AM.

Until now, this can be achieved by managing myself the date of publish of each post. But what if suddenly i want to add "post num 0" to the top of the list? I would have to change the publishing date of all other post manually. With 3 posts is not that much problem, but imagine i have 20 post on the queue!!

If there is a queue, just drag and dropping i could rearrange the whole list, and without changing any publishing data, as this would be done automatically. Almost like a music playlist

Thanks for hearing my thoughts
Hello Martin,

Unfortunately we do not have a queue system and the only way currently is to set the publishing date accordingly (Since it supports time as well, perhaps you should play around with the time)? Anyway, this does seem like a good idea but I cannot guarantee that it would be added into the next release.

Thanks Mark!
My blog is not online yet, but Im planning to publish one post each week. I already have 40. Ive made a timeline to organize the order of posting. When i start posting i will watch my readers habits and interests, so its possible that i will have to rearrange the order or even create new one to suit my readers needs. Imagine i have to rearrange 40 posts publishing dates manually!
A pool and a queue would be awesome!
By the way, what do you mean when you say "Since it supports time as well, perhaps you should play around with the time"?

Another grate addition would be to have a custom text when autoposting on Facebook and other social networks. Always using the same phrase like "Check out my new blog post .... " for every post is not good, and could be much better if i can change it to my needs on each post configuration.

Regards!

Hello Martin,

When you schedule a blog post, you can also set the time that the blog post should kick off. Maybe you can set the ordering of the time too but in your case I can see the difficulties here.
