Hi, Before talk about my problem i have to be honest (i'm french then sorry for my not perfect english)

I buy EasySocial, and some new member came to my website ! but they said to me : We don't have the mail for confirmation.... Everytime i have to active them myself :s

I don't know where i can fix that, i use K2 to for the articles too..
Someone ?

Hello Sebastien,

Have you tried to manually run the cron URL (http://www.yoursite.com/index.php?option=com_easysocial&cron=true) when the user registered. Or you can check the email in the Easysocial>Email Activity whether the email is sent or not. If it doesn't work, you can provide us your backend and FTP so we can have a better look on your issue.

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

It seems like when I'm trying to register into your site, I got the following error after the registration , 'SMTP connect() failed' (Refer attachment screenshot below).

Can you consult with your webhosting provider about this smtp mail issue? You can find the configuration of your joomla mail from your backend > global configuration > Server > Mail Setting.

Regarding with your second inquiry with the twitchtv streaming, I suggest it is best for you to consult with twitchtv tech as they know the best with their own application. Hope you understand

Hello Sebastien,

Did you check your spam folders just in case it landed on the spam? Also, you should double check with your hosting provider regarding your mail settings as I suspect that this could be due to your mail settings.

I already ask OVH and they said it's work well, i try to send a mail at the website's mailbox and that work too.. I think the problem is with joomla

You can't find it for me ? please

Hello Sebastien,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

I've tried to register an account using joomla native registration instead of easysocial registration and I didn't receive any email after the registration process. This mean that there is something wrong with your email configuration either from joomla or your web hosting provider. You can also check from easysocial email activities area and see the email did being processed and sent out to the user.

Perhaps you might need to consult with Joomla tech regarding with email issue not being sent out. Hope you understand
