OK guy's, the number and bulleting lists don't work on your demo site or my newly installed version of Easy/*

So what am I as an end-user missing or what's your solution to this issue?

Cheers!

Hi Arlex,
Thanks for picking up on this ticket so quickly. You're a good guy

From what I can see from your screen dump it's not working for you either in the older version.

I'm actually using Version: 3.2.9744

I'm so sorry you can't access my server right now because it's under development. Any hacks done now would need to be done again on the "fresh" site ready to be published.

What is useful to know is in all cases like this are the following three questions:

1. Is it a known bug?
2. If not, can you replicate it?
3. If not 1 and 2, do you think it's an isolated issue to do with my server alone?

The above three questions are tremendously helpful for troubleshooting.

I will of course give you guy's access to my server as soon as I'm ready and thanks for giving me your IP- I'll whitelist it.
Would you please let me know any other IP #'s support uses and I'll make sure they're added too.

Cheers!

Hi again Arlex,

Here's some useful information for you.

You have the same issue with your built in editor in EasyBlog too.

So you know I have the Latest Version: 5.0.30 installed.

The work around in EasyBlog is to change composer/editor to JCE or other.

However, am I right in saying you can't change composer/editor in EasyDiscuss, it's not an option at the moment?

Cheers!

You're welcome.

Thanks for getting back to us quickly, may i know what you expected this
look like?

Is it similar with quote layout?
For example : this quote layout

By the way, this is my current dynamic IP address : 60.53.241.134

Okay Arlex,

Here you go, this is probably my last chance to help you find, accept and work out a solution to your bug, as I really need to return to my paid day job.

You see I did not use blockquote.

I'm confident if you play around a little yourself you'll see the issue(s)

INFO FOR YOU
Hope it helps!

Using just the editing buttons in your built in editor/composer I see this as an end-user:

Hi G

One
Two
Three

One
Two
Three

What happens when I submit this question?

I hit submit and I get this back:

Hi G

One
Two
Three

One
Two
Three

What happens when I submit this question?

Arlex,
Here's the original. I've changed [ ] as they are getting stripped out by your built in editor and as you know getting replaced with blockquote

(b)Hi G(/b)
(list)
One
Two
Three
(/list)
(list=1)
One
Two
Three
(/list)

Thanks for take your time described this issue, I can able to replicate in our local and created this issue ticket in our codebase, we will fix this in next release version.

If you would like to use <list> tag in your discussion, you can temporary switch to JCE editor.

Thanks Arlex for verifying this as a bug. The very best of luck in irradiating it in the next update.

It's very helpful to know (quickly) what's what!

Yes, a work around is to use another editor such as JCE or other which I mentioned myself.

The only issue I had was not being able to locate where to change the settings in EasyDiscuss. They are named differently in your products and not so easy to find.
I did find it in the end, but it did take more time than I wished.

For those who are newbies or would just like to have a quick link it's under Layout > General > Editing

Now if your using a suite of stackideas products they are in different names and location's.

However, heads up there are further bugs using work around editors. I'll help reporting these issue/bugs time permitting.
In the meantime as a professional courtesy, you might like to see if you and or "your bug finding team" can find them before I need to point them out?

Cheers!
